Spring Break 2006

I've never done the whole go somewhere exotic for spring break thing... and I won't be doing that for my last spring break as an undergrad either. I've decided to do the alternate Spring Break sponsored by Tech's community service office. I will be down in New Orleans (kind of) in St. Bernard's Parish from what I understand during our Spring Break working to clean up houses destroyed in hurricane Katrina that will be restored to their owners. Fun right? Maybe. Thing is, I thought it would actually be fun if my girlfriends go, but from what I can tell no one wants to go really and I am not going to beg anyone. This is not the kinda thing you try to force your friends to do. This also isnt the kinda thing you can wait around and decide to do at the last minute because they have limited spaces on the trip. Oh well, when I read the email about it and felt compelled to do it, my girlfriends weren't in my vision... so if I have to go without them, that's just how it will be. It wouldn't be the first time I felt alone. I don't know if I ever feel like I'm not alone nowadays, but whatever.
