You can't hug me
anymore.
Not that you
have cooties now
or that we're not cool.
I don't hug everyone...
not that you're just anyone,
but your hugs harm me
have me thinking
things never changed,
and I can't deal,
because you'll never
be less than you to me.
So let's take it back
to high fives, dap
and friendly waves
then one fine day
all of me will understand
I'm no longer part of your life
and you're no longer part of mine.
