Sometimes things are more important than whatever task you might think you have to do. situations arise where you have to take care of your loved ones or simply listen to the heart of a brother or sister (generally speaking, not just immediate). I believe that God uses us in these times to fix our hearts by yeilding to his seizure of the moment and also to draw others nearer to Him. In these moments I feel more connected to my purpose than at any other time in my life.... That's why I'm not afraid to stop and smell the roses. If I feel compelled to talk to someone when I should be doing something else, I generally don't sweat it. Perhaps this made my grades in college somewhat mediocre but I think that I've definitely had a decent share of meaningful verbal exchanges that would not have occured had I been preoccupied with sticking to a rigid schedule.
