dad

Tonight I talked to my dad on the phone. He's so full of godly wisdom and I love him so much. I am very glad that God sent him to me and my mom. He's really been a great father to me and my sister. He helped me think through some of my current emergent issues, so now I feel better about what I need to do. God blessed my family life for a reason and He has put family on my heart for a reason. I really think He is leading me into the marriage and family therapy sect of the professional counseling field. The idea of being a licensed practice counselor in that area just makes me feel like a duck in water. I know that if God wants me to become that, he will bless my graduate school application process and send me where He needs me to be. I must continue to rely on Him, have trust in Him and look to Him with my heart...and listen to Him and strive to follow His example. Fathers are essential. It's nice to know the love of three fathers.

on another note...

My sister (Shamonique) flippin left home for COLLEGE yesterday. I'm like what in the world?! She knows she was not supposed to get older than like 9th grade. And Miss Gabby, well she's in 7th grade and she knows she is still supposed to be FIVE. What's goin on here? I'm proud of my beautiful sisters. They have beautiful hearts to go with their beautiful outsides. I love them both dearly and I thank God for them both. I am SO blessed!
