I'm really just me,
Trying to become who God means
for me to be.
So please don't put me on your worldly pedestal.
Anything that is good in me comes from Him
It will always be that way.
So I say 'thank you'
with a blush and a smile,
but all the while
It's really making me uncomfortable.
Compliments are sweet,
but please give credit only where credit is due.
Praise my GOD above.
