Ok, so yesterday was Xmas Eve. I had misunderstood. Dad DID come with my sister and I to see Grandma. He just had me to drive. It was a little scary/weird at first, but then I got the hang of it. The roads are so different out here in comparison to ATL and all the other places I've driven...plus they're BUMPY. Well Grandma loved her present (a prayer box bracelet) I saw my cousin Dougie whom I haven't seen in years. He's grown and gone now doing big things. I met my cousin Jordan's lil boy, and I'm lookin forward to seeing my cousin Fallon's lil boy. I feel so old.
Ok...BAH HUMBUG!
So, Christmas started off as a beautimous day. I woke up around 1:57pm Central (wasn't like I felt as if there was anything to look forward to). When I finally woke up, I read my bible, the devotion I forgot to do yesterday, devotion for today and then Luke 2 to remind me of the reason for CHRISTmas. After reading, I grabbed my Dad's present and took it to him (The Matrix) he liked it! Then I grabbed my presents outta the front room and brought them in to where my dad was and started opening them and my sis and her mom came home (I gave them their presents). I got purse with my initial on it, a black turtleneck sweater with the snap fold-down neck, Mya's "Moodring" CD and a red zip up hoodie with a rhinestone "C."
So then I got dressed and we ran over to auntie Fessie's picked up Pralines and presents, ran back to the house so we could exchange gifts with auntie Jen and family. Then I sat down with Dad and we started Watching "King of Kings" a really long story about the life and teachings of Jesus, but it's nice to see what you read be reinacted.
(to be continued... allergy meds kickin in and i'm drowsy)
