How did this semester turn out?!
Well after studying my behind off for my hardest final, Linguistics ( I technically needed a 195 out of 200 to get a B in that class) God hooked me up with a B in the class. I met up with the teacher a couple hours before hand, got a little help and the part that had once confused me, I regulated on it so that was my miracle final and the only one I'm actually PROUD of.
As for the other FINALS:
Spanish: was like a normal test or "prueba" it wasn't even cumulative. It only covered Chapter 4!!! But HEY, who is really complaining. I know I'm not.
African American History: If you get to take African American History before (or after) 1895 with Prof. Alexander...JUST DO IT. It was an easy A...yes I wrote six papers, but if you are black, they are just "gut" papers based on knowledge of your heritage and your opinions on race relations of the past and present. That A was all to the good and no sweat. :)
Science, Technology and Modernism: I loved the class cuz the material was interesting and the underlying concept of modernism is simple...therefore the "final" only took about 10 minutes for me to take, but I do think it was fairly easy for most. Take that class with Prof. Leland. It's interesting. I LOVE my major.
OK, having said all that. I'm so excited about the semester to come. That Spring 2004 will be off the rip. Everything will be so fresh and I'm focusing on my mind, body and soul: Coming closer to God, eating healthy(-er) and exercising, and being on top of my school work fa sho. I will certainly be praying for direction in everything because my educational and professional plans seem so tentative after I get my Bachelor's Degree. I feel like I'm just wafting in the wind sometimes. I dunno. I still got time. Everything doesn't have to be planned out now... even though a lot of peeps feel that all of that is necessary. I'm just going to make sure I do my best in my classes from now on and the rest will fall into place. I just need to be aware of opportunities, I know God has my back so I'm going to be alright.
END!!! (u ever seen cow and chicken...oo i love cartoons)
