Ok, so its actually November first now because its soooo late, but its still HALLOWEEN night dangit...

Today was a great day...because it was Friday of course, but there are other reasons. Well I almost slept thru my spanish class at 9 this morning because I didn't want to press snooze and interrupt my roomie. I messed around and went back to sleep after the alarm went off...only to wake up when it was actually time for me to ummm LEAVE. That was cool tho. I had the situation under control and I was still there well ahead of class time (just like the nerd I can be). After class, I came back to the dorm and decided to eat breakfast...ended up stayin in Woodies wayyyy too long because I love to talk but its cool. I had no pressing assignments today...a big difference from the two stupid tests yesterday. When I got back to my room I talked on the computer for 30 mins and I tried to take a nap, which I figured I'd be able to do cuz roomie was asleep, but then I was awakened by a lot of noise, so I was like *bleep* it and I got redressed and left for main campus (cuz the closer I get to the building for my 2 o clock class, the more likely I am to decide to go.)Instead of going to class tho, I actually meet up with my person and ended up chillin. I've come to the conclusion that I will never again make it to Black History class on Fridays that papers aren't due (we have 2 more papers to go. woo!)

Ok, here's where the awesomeness began. I was going to go to Destinations( Christ-related hip hop and spoken word at Destiny Metropolitan Worship Church that happens every last Friday of every month. Check it out!), but I didn't feel like driving and I was able to catch a ride with someone ( I mean I was going to go anyway though). So me and 'Los get to Destinations and I start getting this awful sinus headache and there was no medicine and the music was really loud, but I was crunck anyway because I knew that I was doing something positive just by being there and I just felt like I was going to get somethings (spiritually) out of it... plus my person was in it, so I had to see my folk.

The whole show was amazing, moving, thought provoking, and my person did a GREAT job. I was really impressed. Mad props to how he represented God. Everyone who spoke or rapped or sang had something inspiring and important to say. I'm so glad I was able to be there, and the next time I go I'm going to have to drive so I can share it with more of my friends.

After the show I got back to the room, but found that I needed to escape immediately cuz I didn't feel like being here just yet and I wanted to drive...so I IMed my girl Q and we just rode out for no reason, but ended up makin a few stops so we weren't necessarily aimless...lol, just started out with no destination.

The best part of tonight was seeing my person again :o) I almost forgot I had a headache (not really) but it wasn't as crucial. I have sooo much to thank God for. He is doing BIG things in my life and I am sooo grateful.

PLing-
I have to say that at first I wasn't feeling the PL thing, but I'm starting to love my job (and hopefully get a little better at this thing). Its fun checking up on residents and being here to help. Seeing Beachy, Andi, Sharonda and Drea makes me wish I'd been in a Freshman experience dorm last year...and its so nice to see happy smiling freshman faces every day. You guys show me what's good about FE and slowly yall are teaching me how to be a PL. Daily I'm reminded of why I wanted to be a PL (and not b/c of free housing cuz that's not exactly what I get). I'm stealing Hui's word...things are so Beautimous, life is just Peachy all the way and I feel like I'm growing closer to God and that's really all that matters.

I just want to send love to my fam and peeps: mom, dad, Gabby (Pikachu), dad, Shamonique, Cicely, Erin, Nina, Kelvin, Sean, Hui, Mika and Micah because I know that if I ever need something you got my back and I'm glad to have you in my life and I want you to know that I got your back too. I Thank God for you guys everyday.
